Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Photo, Video Locker-Calculator Android app (the "App") published by Photo and Video Applications ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. By using the App, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy and agree to the collection and use of information described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Your Hidden Photos and Videos Stay on Your Device
Because the files are stored only on your device, uninstalling the App, clearing its data or resetting your device can permanently delete your hidden files. Before doing so, use the "unhide" option in the App to move your files back to your gallery.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Recovery email address
You may register an email address in the App. It is used only to help you recover your PIN if you forget it, to send you the optional Intruder Selfie alert (see 2.2), and to reply to your support requests.
2.2 Device, usage and advertising information
To operate, secure and improve the App, and to show ads, we and our partners may automatically collect limited non-personal and device information, such as:
- Install and uninstall data, frequency of use, and features used (app activity).
- Device model, Android version, language, country and App version.
- Crash logs and performance data (app info and performance).
- Identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID) and app instance ID, and your IP address.
This information does not include your hidden photos and videos.
2.3 Fingerprint / biometric unlock
If you enable fingerprint unlock, verification is handled by your device's Android system. We never receive, store or have access to your fingerprint data.
3. Permissions and Special Access

You can withdraw any permission at any time in your Android settings. Some features will not work without them.
4. How We Use Information
- To operate and maintain the App and provide its features.
- To help you recover your PIN and to send Intruder Selfie alerts you have turned on.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To show advertisements and measure their performance.
- To understand how the App is used, fix problems and improve our products and services.
- To keep the App secure and prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Advertising, Analytics and Tracking
The App contains ads. We use device identifiers to personalize content and ads and to analyze our traffic, and we share such identifiers and other device information with our advertising and analytics partners. These include Google AdMob [add any other ad network you use, e.g. Meta Audience Network] and analytics and crash reporting services such as Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics [confirm]. These partners have their own privacy policies and may collect data through their own technologies.
Your choices
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions that require it, the App asks for your consent before showing personalized ads.
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization: Android Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Google My Ad Center.
- Opting out does not remove ads. It makes them less relevant to you.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your data and we do not share your hidden files, because we do not have them. We share information only with:
- Advertising and analytics partners described in Section 5.
- Service providers that help us run the App, such as email delivery for recovery and Intruder Selfie messages, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
- A successor, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of the App.
7. Security
Your hidden files are protected by your PIN (and fingerprint if enabled) and stay on your device. Data sent between the App and our services uses secure connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your PIN private and choose one that is hard to guess.
8. Data Retention and Your Choices
- Hidden files: stored on your device until you unhide or delete them, uninstall the App or clear its data. We cannot recover them.
- Intruder Selfie photos: deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
- Recovery email: kept only as long as needed for recovery and support. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Analytics and ad data: retained by our partners according to their own policies.
- Requests: to access, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent, email us at the address below. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or India's DPDP Act), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Data Processing
Our partners and service providers may process data in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. By using the App you understand that your information may be processed in those locations.
11. Changes to the App and This Policy
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice in the App or by email. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
